Altınbeşik Cave Tour from Alanya

Altınbeşik (Golden Cradle) Cave, is about 130 km from Alanya.Altınbeşik cave, which takes its name from the hill of  Altınbeşik, is the first underground lake cave in Turkey and the third largest underground lake cave in Europe.Altınbeşik cave is 450 meters high from sea level and consists of 3 floors.The depth of the water in the cave is 15m,the water contains soda, no fish live in this cave, you will find pigeons and bats live in this particular cave.The discovery of the cave was made in 1966.

   5.5 km of the cave from the mouth was discovered until now, it contains 20 ponds inside.It is estimated that the length of the cave is minimum 50 km.You can enter the cave by a boat without normal equipment over an underground lake 400 meters long.The magnificent travertine formations that resemble Pamukkale (Cotton Castle) at the end of the lake are worth seeing from the entrance. The water of Altınbeşik Cave, which is a horizontal and partially active cave system, comes from Beyşehir lake underground resources, which is 90 km away.The air inside is humid and the temperature is 16 degrees, this does not change from summer and winter.When you go to the cave in summer, you will feel cool. It is said that the air of the cave is good for asthma but no official explanation or research has been made.

   The trip is organised from Alanya to Altınbeşik cave,which has just opened to tourism.The tour starts at 08:00 in the morning after you are picked up from the hotels. The first stop of our air-conditioned bus is for watching the Green Canyon view from 1200 m peak.After passing through the green nature of the Taurus you will come across an old nomad village. This village,which is one of the first settlements of Turks on Taurus Mountains, will fascinate you with its history and dazzling appearance.

   When we arrive to Altınbeşik National Park, the view of the cave allows you to have a fabulous feeling.The Altınbeşik Cave tour from Alanya continues with a 1 hour boat tour inside the cave by boats acompained by guide.After the boat tour,the tour continues with a delicious lunch at the restaurant located near the national park.After the meal, free time is given for Altınbeşik National Park forest trip. The next stop after the trip is Sarıhacılar Village.The 650-year-old mosque in the village is visited by tourists and history buffs.

After visiting those two different nature wonder, we drop off you back to your hotels or residences around 18:00.
